What happens if I no longer have enough money or lose my job? Is there a safety net to enable me to continue paying off my property?
When you are properly advised and accompanied by absolute professionals, your property purchase is planned and implemented in such a way that everything continues to run successfully and securely, even in the event of subsequent unemployment, for example. By choosing the right property, the right amount of investment and the right structure for the financing, you and your adviser can do a great deal to ensure you are on the safe side. In this context, it is a common misconception that unemployment leads to a major problem. For owner-occupied property, this is usually the case. Because there you pay 100% of the instalments and burdens yourself, and therefore it must be considered all the more carefully that you have a secure and regular income in the long term. With rented property, tenants and the tax office pay by far the largest part of the burden and you usually only pay the smallest share. In the event of interim unemployment, your tenant will of course continue to pay the rent and thus ensure that you continue to build up wealth. In addition, you can even take out insurance to have your small personal contribution offset in such an emergency.
